Fujifilm X series body reviews, lens reviews, photo galleries and photography articles by Matt Murray XF 8-16mm F2.8 R LM WR - XF 10-24mm F4 R OIS: 72mm: XF 14mm
The XF 10-24mm F4 R OIS WR is a fair-sized lens at about 3.4 by 3.1 inches (HD) and 13.6 ounces. It's large compared with a slim starter zoom like the XC 15-45mm (1.7 by 2.5 inches, 4.8 ounces
XF 10-24mm f/4 R OIS The XF 10-24mm is definitely a larger lens than some of the smaller primes you can find for the X-T20 but we included it here for two reasons: it is the only ultra-wide rectilinear lens for the system at the moment and you may find it more versatile than a wide-angle prime.
Re: 10-24 versus 23mm. In reply to DarnGoodPhotos • Feb 16, 2015. 2. The primary difference is F1.4 vs. F4.0 as maximum aperture. The 10-24 is a bit longer, maybe an inch, and just a little heavier. I don't have any of the lenses, but the 8-16mm probably has a bit better image quality and it of course also has F2.8 and weather sealing. The upsides to the 10-24mm is the price, the lighter weight and the OIS. JayPhizzt's gear list: Nikon Z7 Nikon Z 20mm F1.8 Nikon Z MC 105mm F2.8 VR S.
