The fuses are located in the front passenger footwell on the underside of the instrument cluster. 1. Unscrew screws of footwell trim panel. 2. Lay the trim panel in the footwell. I was shocked at the cost for the dealer to install (quote was $2500 without the wiring). BMW will notify owners, and dealers will replace the positive battery cable connector and secure it with an improved method, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin in March 2013.
